Clamp-Mount Mixers

HEAVY-DUTY CLAMP-MOUNT MIXERS

  • Engineered for mixing large volumes of light and medium materials or small batches of heavy materials
  • Heavy-duty, clamp-mount allows 90° vertical and 360° horizontal adjustments for most efficient mixing position
  • Clamp- and motor-mount are cast aluminum for high strength with minimal weight
  • Propellers and shafts are stainless steel
  • Totally-Enclosed, Fan-Cooled (TEFC), Explosion-Proof (EP) and Air Motors are standard
  • Standard electric models output speed of 1,750 RPM; variable-speed electric models run from 35-1,750 RPM; Air Models run from 300-3,000 RPM
  • Single-phase TEFC models equipped with cord, plug, and switch; three-phase and EP models have motor leads only
  • Electric variable-speed models, speed control mounted on and pre-wired directly to the mixer motor
  • Models D-15V, D-22V and D-33V have no plug
  • Air Models have speed control valve and muffler
  • Other motor types, speeds and options are available.

    HEAVY-DUTY GEAR-DRIVEN CLAMP-MOUNT MIXERS

    Produce high torque necessary for handling large batches of low viscosity materials or small batches of heavy materials
  • Mix heavy materials beyond the range of direct-drive mixers
  • Clamp- and motor-mount are cast aluminum plus the 2 HP and 3 HP come with extra heavy-duty double clamp
  • Standard 3-blade hydrofoil type impellers and shafts are made of stainless steel
  • All units have helical gear reducers with 5:1 ratio standard and other ratios available
  • All single-phase TEFC models are equipped with cord, plug and switch
  • Three-phase and EP models equipped with motor leads only
  • 230-volt variable-speed models have cord but no plug
  • Electric variable-speed models have the speed control mounted on and pre-wired to mixer motor
  • Air Motor models have speed control valve and exhaust muffler
  • Options include other motor types or speeds and cup-mount instead of clamp-mount.

    • Most popular line to fill a variety of everyday mixing applications
    • Ideal for use in laboratories, pilot plants, light production and chemical feed systems
    • Mixers have universal adjustable clamp mount
    • Horsepower ranges from 1/4 HP to 4 HP
    • Totally-Enclosed, Fan-Cooled (TEFC), Explosion-Proof (EP), and Air Motors are standard
    • All single-phase TEFC models equipped with cord, plug and switch; explosion-proof models are equipped with motor leads only
    • On the electric and variable speed models, the speed control is mounted on and pre-wired directly to the mixer motor
    Other motor types, speeds, shafts, and propellers are available.

    VARIABLE-SPEED EXPLOSION-PROOF MIXERS

    Equipped with adjustable clamp-mount mixer with 2-axis swivel. Single-phase motors, operable on 115 or 230 volts, 60 Hz, and listed as Class 1 Group D come standard on these models.

    Air Motors are available on economy models and also have other options such as variable-speed drives available upon request. Impellers can be welded seamlessly to the shaft.
